Because a blog is not just an individual thing. At Blogger you can define multiple users to a single blog. These users can be either "Administrators" or "Authors".
Who created a new blog on Blogger, by default has a role or Administrator profile. The Administrator has the ability not only to create and edit entries, but also can change the template design and layout of elements on the blog. In addition only one director is able to invite others to join as "Author" the blog but also can also change the profile to Administrator
Moreover, the "Author" only has access to the publication of new entry and editing entries if they are those of the same. No access to anything else.
The truth is that it misses an intermediate profile between such a "chief editor" or something, looking more like a journalistic writing.
It is assumed that there must be trust and responsibility among all team members. The person to whom you invite must have GMail account.
Steps to invite someone to join your blog and Author
Go to the Settings tab
Click where it says + Add Authors
Enter the email address of the person you're inviting and press OK
The invited person will review your inbox and you should receive an email like this:
You must click on the link will display a new window to accept the invitation and create (if they had before) a Blogger account.
The result is that once you enter you will see the Blog Blogger who has been invited. Again, you can only create new entries or edit their own.
The Administrator may at any time change the profile of the author to Manager, from within the Settings tab. You can also delete users, this does not imply the elimination of post created by the Author.
A blog should always have at least an Administrator.
Besides the features already includes Blogger, my recommendation is that if several are working on the same blog, write a protocol for publishing and general rules of use, so anyone who joins the team must abide those standards.
Finally, if you are someone who have multiple accounts in GMAIL I recommend you practice this exercise and you autoinvites to another account you own. Better if you do this on a Test Blog.
In real circumstances, very careful!, Is very simple that the person you invite if you name an administrator, it can take away administrator privileges to the account "main" blog and that makes an impact as recording would cease to be staying control over your own blog.
